A NOTE FROM LISA'S SISTER to LISA's FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Today is a day for celebration!! It marks Lisa's last Taxol chemo treatment and the end of her first of three major post-surgery hurdles! Let's line the "streets" and cheer Lisa on through this first hurdle.
Get your pompoms out (cheerleader attire optional)! Sound your cheering voices! Let's make it loud! Can you hear us LISA??

Hoorah!! Ami and I are cheering! We have our UM cheerleading outfits and pompoms and I'm trying to get Ami to lift me up on his shoulders so I can stand higher and cheer louder and maybe Lisa can see me all the way down in Houston. But for some odd reason it isn't working!!! We're so proud of how you and Nat have both managed the last twelve weeks, with humor, love and grace. brilliantly done!
Much love, Prue
Bravo! I am so happy to hear that you are at the end of this first of three treatments. One down, two to go. You are a real trooper, and I've been so impressed with your fortitude. You have revealed a deep inner strength while allowing yourself to admit how hard and scary this whole thing is. Lots of hugs as you continue your journey. Love, J.
Terrific news I'm so proud of you, my friend. Can't wait to see you in your hip scarves! Thanks, D., for easing our worries about Lisa. She is one amazing woman. xoxo C.
WEEEHOOO! Congratulations! A great milestone. Be sure and celebrate:)
Relief for Lisa How good it must feel to check off stage one of treatment and to know that in spite of the 'hit me in the head, oil me up and roll me in oatmeal' discomfort you are still the marvelous person who shines through these pages. We are filled with admiration for you and your fortitude gives hope to others who are trying to deal with similar issues. T. and I are cheering and have gotten our dogs to do a risque dance to impress the cats but I am disappointed not to see Prue standing on Ami's shoulders. That would be a cure all by itself.
Hurrah, Hurrah So happy that phase is over. Knew you could handle it. Have a chocolate shake on me, sorry you will have to pay, I'm too far away. Have a great weekend. Hi Nat. Love, A. J.
Congratulations Your positive attitude has helped the medicine do its good work and is an inspiration to all of us. Congratulations and Love. O. L.
Good going Good job getting through Round One, way to kick butt!
I'm cheering! I couldn't find my pompoms, but I am cheering and jumping up and down. Ouch! It has been a while since I have done the splits, but I did one for you!! Another hurdle down, and you're on your way to the goal. I know it sounds cliche, but I think of you everyday. I'll see you next week. Love, C.
Yay Lisa! Congratulations! I'm so proud of you. Cheering from the West Coast, K.
congratulations While I do look amazing in a cheerleader outfit, I have to work and spare you all. Well done and Good Luck next week with your next hurdle. J.
Cheers from Round Rock! I'm new to your board. I'm J. C.'s wife, and we work with Nat. You have a fantastic husband and he has nothing but wonderful things to say about you and the courage that you have shown. Congrats on round one! Have a wonderful weekend. Make the most of it. Starting next week, if there is anything we can do to help, just let me know. I still have pompoms & a megaphone! And, we send loud cheers from Round Rock! -R. (& J.) C.
Cheering for you in Cypress I think of you so often. I have prayed for your strength and will continue to do so. I am so happy that you have made it over this hurdle. (with total grace and class) You inspire so many people. If we picked a mascot for Team Millenbah, it wouldn't be a chicken!! I think perhaps a lion, to reflect the courage in your heart. So, go Lisa the Lion!!! You will win this race and we will all be here to cheer you on. God bless, L. Y.
Yahooooooooooooo!!!!! Can you picture it? I'm doing handstands and cartwheels!!!! And I'm back on my knees thanking God that this phase is completed!!!
Well the handstands and cartwheels are a stretch! But it would probably be a hoot to watch me try. So glad this part is over. Love, A. P.
Mena, let's pause for a moment and celebrate!!!!! Yahoo!!!!! Yippee Skippee!!!! Yeehaa! Shazaam! Say good-bye to Taxol!!!!! Lisa, You are a champ!!!! I hope that in a couple of hours that you and Nat will be out celebrating. I'd tell you to let your hair down...but you already have!!!!! You are the best!!!!! I'm just beside myself with excitement for you. My favorite punctuation mark is the exclamation mark, so I'm going to share it with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENJOY! You deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings and bravas and love to you from Vermont
All the Vs are shouting "brava" and cheering your staying-power and gutsiness. We're behind you all the way. With love and admiration, A.
